The DDLBA Championship Triples commence on Monday March 8 at North Toowoomba Club: Nominations to be received by Friday March 5. Those teams nominated to be at the Club by 8.30 a.m. for the draw to take place.
The Challenge Match (v) Cunningham is set down for Sunday March 14 at North Toowoomba. More information as it comes to hand:
Friday March 19: We will be celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the DDLBA at Toowoomba Club. All acceptances should now be in for this prestigious event.

The DDLBA Championship Fours commenced this week at Toowoomba Club, Lindsay St. Teams nominated to be at the club for 8.30 a.m. for the draw to take place. Those nominated so far are:- B. Gordon, M. Podmore, T. Thomas, M. Hughes, M.Anderson, North Toowoomba (3), West Toowoomba (3). 11 teams in all:
Monday March 1: DDLBA Quarterly Meeting at Drayton at 9.30 a.m.
Monday March 8-10: DDLBA Championship Triples to be held at North Toowoomba. Names in as soon as possible for this event:
The Challenge Match (v) Cunningham is set down for Sunday March 14 at North Toowoomba. 6 Men’s teams, 4 Ladies teams. 2 games on the day: Cost $25/players, $12.50 non players. Names will be listed in the notes when available.

The DDLBA Championship Fours commence on Monday February 22 at Toowoomba Club, Lindsay St. Draw to be conducted at 8.30 a.m. BYO Lunch and water. Sandwiches available to purchase on arrival. Please have your nominations in early with your intention to participate in this event so that the greens can be prepared for play with final numbers.

Monday March 8: DDLBA Championship Triples commence at North Toowoomba. Please get your nominations in as early as possible
Friday March 19: DDLBA 70th Anniversary Celebrations to be held at Toowoomba Club, Lindsay St. Please send in your acceptances by February 26 together with your cost for players being $25/head and $15 lunch only.

The Nominations for the DDLBA Championship Fours will now be taken up until 8.00 a.m. on the morning of play on the 22nd February. All teams entering this event to be present at Toowoomba Club, Lindsay St., by 8.30 a.m. for the draw to take place. BYO Lunch and water, sandwiches will be available to purchase on arrival.

What wonderful bowls and sportsmanship we witnessed last week during the State Junior Championships, how pleasing to see young people taking up our once considered an older person’s sport. Well done to all those who participated in this event. All results will be published in the Men’s notes.

This week sees the continuation of the Junior Championships at North Toowoomba and Toowoomba Clubs. Spectators are enjoying the talents of these young bowlers of the future of our sport.

Happy New Year to all our members and their families.
The first event on our 2021 calendar is going to be the Junior State Championships to be held at North Toowoomba and Toowoomba Clubs, go along to these two clubs to watch some super young bowlers in action.
